SEMBAWANG 4ROOM HDB (Comtemporary)


The Living Hall.
Upon entry into the home, a partition shields the living area from the exterior. The partition incorporates a shoe cabinet finished in veneer that is played up to look like a display unit.Besides being aesthetically pleasing it serves a utilitarian function of keeping unsightly shoes within.

Additionally, a cantilevered TV console supports the home's entertainment system, while a niche built out of a false wall behind it adds visual interest.

The Dining Hall
The dining room has less of a dramatic makeover. A floor-to-ceiling mirror was fitted to strikingly enlarge the space.

The Kitchen
The Kitchen adjacent to the dining area has been rendered as a vision of dark wood. Both the upper and lower cabinets were treated with a laminate finish for a smooth, sleek look. To form a tasteful complement to this, white solid surface countertops were applied and homogeneous tiles were used as the floor finish of choice.

THE MASTER BEDROOM
The use of timber paneling to create a line of visual continuity that flows from the bedhead to the custom-made wardrobe suggests a subdued break away from the monotony of plain walls.

Utilitarian concerns form a large design focus in the study; the cabinets and desk have been wall-mounted to free up space, offering the flexibility of using this room for other purposes.

THE LIVING HALL


The implementation of design elements in this part of the house develops the character of the home in line with the modern tropical thought. The living area plays host to a feature wall fitted out in sand-coloured granite that creates textural contrast. Situated just next to the TV console fabricated in warm timber veneer; a combination of smooth and bush-hammered granite tiles were skillfully laid on this section of the wall for an eye-catching effect. A wood-craved display to adorn a right-angled corner that demarcates the living and the dining area. Similarly in the dining area, leading in from the main entrance of the home, square stone-carved displays have been implemented into timber veneer shoe cabinets for a degree of interest.

Kitchen and the dining. With an invigorated open Concept, the flow between these spaces is proved.



* THE MASTER BEDROOM






The design team opted for a simple plan in the master bedroom. Employing a grained timber
Veneer, the team built a bed frame with pull-out drawers for effective storage of knick knacks.
Additionally, they added side tables and a bed
Head that extends to the ceiling. Applying a
Creative mixture of cream-colored blocks and
Timber veneer, recess lights were fitted to this
Element for an interesting approach.

REDHILL 5 ROOM EXE ( RAW N STYLISH)


THE FOYER


The foyer was created, affording the apartment a luxurious feel. It is furnished with a stretch of build-in cabinets that seem to hang from the ceiling. Used for storing the couple’s shoes, these are painted to blend with the wall such that the space is Not further divided into sections, hence maintaining roominess. The ash-grey color was deliberately chosen to match the flooring and the dark-tinted sliding glass doors leading into the kitchen. The seamless merging creates a mysterious, modern feel to the apartment from the start, upon entry.

THE DINING HALL




The living and dinning rooms are clean white and grey-tinted canvases. Stylish contrast and impact comes from the solid ebony adornments – black couch, black dining furniture, sheer black curtains. Character is thus created despite minimal décor. Adding some liveliness to an all black-and-white theme are the traces of different shades of red in a simple wall picture, couch cushions and table mat.

* KITCHEN

THE KITCHEN


The adjoining kitchen makes the loudest statement this bold design. The combination of hot red and sober black has sleek chic written all over it. While the flooring is matt black, there is sheen off the surfaces of walls covered in black glass and countertops finished in high-gloss laminate.

* THE MASTER BEDROOM



This romance love nets created with the combination of black bedroom sets and maroon wall painting, sheer black curtain. The black leather bed set bring out the elegant and passionate feel of this master room with the high gloss black laminate furniture, example on the TV console which mounted on the wall give the room a very clean cut look and a 7ft width wardrobe in the room was designed with all black tinted glass door panels thus created another mysterious where the wardrobe located in the room.

GLAZED IN BLACK
(Living Hall)
The spacious living room, which makes up for a large percentage of the apartment, is a well-balanced composition of chic black and light cream and white tones. Most significantly, tone-on-tone wallpaper wraps the space, enveloping it in a stylish shroud of black. Using black mirror for the feature wall backing the TV console to imbued the space with a touch of polish. Glossy black laminates makes an appearance overhead in the form of four square ceiling features that frame an elaborate chandelier.

Black is kept to even in the choice of furniture such as the leather sofa and the rug that centers the space. Despite the main black theme however, the space is anything but dreary given the light cream marble floor that lifts the space considerably.

KITCHEN


Due to size constraints, the kitchen has been shaded in light white and cream tones to make it appear as spacious as possible. Cream-coloured laminated cupboards pervade the space and are juxtaposed with a grey tiled floor and a ebony-hued worktop. To further enhance the impression of space, a sliding frameless glass door divides the kitchen from the rest of the apartment, allowing full view of spaces either way.
